We accept all driving licenses issued by the competent authority with a minimum age of 21 yrs old. Please check if your country has signed a convention with Mauritius regarding your country driver’s license. We request a minimum of 2 years driving experience for normal vehicles and 3 years for our luxury vehicles.
Yes, you have to check that the vehicle condition report reflects the actual vehicle condition. If an apparent defect is not listed, please proceed to a joint examination of the vehicle with the Get Going Holidays employee, in order to update the rental agreement.
All our vehicles have a 24/7 road side assistance service, usually provided by our insurance partners. All you have to do is to contact our representative on 5257-7787 or 5253-7771.
You need to contact the Get Going Holidays office where you have picked up the rental or the Agent before the return date/time given. Inform them of your new date and time. Also be advised that any changes to agreements can result in a rate change.
Our representatives will be glad to deliver your vehicle wherever you might need it, however an additional fee might be applicable if delivered outside our free delivery radius - Our Office in Rose-Hill and Ebene.
Our cars are delivered with enough fuel to reach the nearest fuel station. Alternatively and upon request, we can provide a full tank service.
Yes, Get Going Holidays does provide second driver option.
For a nominal fee, we can cater for child car seats.
We offer baggage transportation for our clients (i.e. 2 baggages per pax) for all our services proposed. However if you have additional luggage, we can arrange for additional transportation.

If you have some personal belongings in the vehicle, please do report it at your earliest convenience with the Get Going Holidays representative or our Head Office. We will try our best to find and return the object/s. However Get Going Holidays and its representatives cannot be held liable for any loss of or damage to your belongings.
Please drive safely and observe all road signs that are of international standard; customers are responsible for the payment of any parking and driving violations.
The speed limit varies from 40 km/h to 110 km/h depending on which road you are driving. Please be sure to adhere to the appropriate speed limits.
All cars are right handed in Mauritius while the driving is done on the left.
